National Panchayat Award for Odisha

Odisha is very happy that it has received the National Panchayat Award. President Draupadi Murmu has presented the National Award 2024 to 45 Panchayat Raj units of the country in New Delhi.  

On Wednesday, President Draupadi Murmu attended the Panchayat Award held at the Vidyanya Bhawan in New Delhi and presented the awards to Keluvalli Panchayat, Chhatrappur Panchayat, Koraput district in Rangeilunda block of Ganjam district of Odisha.

In addition, the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Institute of Odisha was recognized in the field of skill development. It is worth mentioning that this year 94 thousand Gram Panchayats participated in the National Panchayat Award competition. Many ministers also participated in this event, including the President, Professor SP Singh Waleng.

Many officials from Odisha and others participated in this program. Commissioner Surendra Kumar, Administrative Secretary also attended. Pradeep Kumar Mahapatra, Ambuj Kumar Bishoi, Bimbadhar were prominently present there. more news
